Hello Ms. Joy! I just started reading your blog a week ago or so, and came across it by “divine intervention” because whenever I would open an article on Philstar I always see on the ticker (don’t know if that’s what they call it) below it the title “The love story of Edric and Joy Mendoza”, which I ignored several times until last week when I finally took the time to open and read it and bhammm!I cried buckets because God answered my question if this is His will (I am sad and confused due to heart matters) and God affirmed through that article that separation is not bad at all and I should just pray and trust God’s plan for my love life. I am also at a point in my life that I am having a serious relationship with God and you said it in one of your article that there are people who ask if God is real, and I am one of that…and when I did that…man!!!Challenges after another, but I love my life now compared in the past and I prayed to God as well to lead me and prepare me on how to become a godly child, wife(I claim it) and mother and well, well, well…guess what I am reading you!hehehehe…God bless you and your whole family!Thank you for being an inspiration to me and others!

Hi Joy, I just started reading your blogs not too long ago which I found on Pinterest btw… Haha.. all I can say is that I’m truly blessed when I do get a chance to sit and relax at the end of a crazy busy day and get encouraged by your God given wisdom!! I’m a stay at home Mom to 3 beautiful kids Ages 7,6 and 2 and is happily married to my amazing godly hubby for 10 years. It gets pretty hectic around my household with my hubby working crazy hours and I’m home caring for the kiddos all by myself. Haha… I know you can relate. Grateful for the GRACE of God every single day!! Replying to a blog is totally out of the norm for me, but I just really wanted to thank you for opening up and being such an encourager and being an awesome example of how a godly mommy, wife and friend should be by the Grace of God! I’ve actually only read about 6-7 of your postings and I plan on reading more. This one really blessed me and for that I’m grateful!!! Have an amazing blessed day… Actually it’s 11:44pm here in California!! Blessings!!!!

I can totally relate with you, Joy! And I appreciate your honesty always. (I’ve just read your love story on PhilStar, by the way).

Anyway, I guess no matter how we love raising our kids and being home, there will always be a day when we just wanna break down and cry out of frustration. You’re lucky you have a little boy who thinks like an old man and is full of wisdom! I

Now I feel better after going back to my regular exercise ( running outdoors with my husband).
